A Doctrine of Non-Resistance is Un-American

There's a passage in the preamble of the Declaration of Independence that I really like to harp on. And I mean REALLY:

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed” 

** REPEAT **

For people who don't really know English that well, it means most people would rather just “go along to get along”  ... “put up and shut up" …  hence, a “doctrine of non-resistance against arbitrary power and oppression”  [1] … rather than say “Hell no! we're not taking this bullshit anymore!” 

The most fundamental US American value is:

“Hell no! We're not taking this bullshit anymore!” 

But, in the USA today, people care more about who won the game, who's cheating with whom in Hollywood, or celebrity ladies' fashions [2] than 1000+ page Omnibus bills that Congress votes on without even reading but have SEVERE implications on our lives.

Oh, almost forgot. Another part I like to harp on are the last two words: “sacred honor” 

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” 

Now, as far as finding “Sacred Honor" amongst those in high positions of power who pose before the American flag inside government buildings surrounded by barricades and phalanxes of armed guards in the District of Columbia today.... well, you have about as good chance of that as you do of finding a good livery stable anywhere in the United States or climbing Mount Everest in nothing but a swimsuit and a pair of flip-flops. If you're not sure what a livery stable is, see below:

1) Per both Article 6  Maryland Constitution - Declaration of Rights and Article 10 of the New Hampshire State Constitution - Bill of Rights: “... whenever the ends of Government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the People may, and of right ought, to reform the old, or establish a new Government; the doctrine of non-resistance against arbitrary power and oppression is absurd, slavish and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.” 

2) I saw not long ago the big news in the supermarket tabloids that Jen's engagement is off. Meanwhile, do you know what the policy and lawmakers are doing behind closed doors in those government buildings surrounded by barricades and armed guards in D.C.?

ONE THAT ENABLES BIG-BUSINESSES THAT HAVE THE RESOURCES TO CONTRACT THAT LABOR IN ORDER TO UNDERCUT AND THREATEN THE VERY EXISTENCE OF SMALL AND INDEPENDENT BUSINESS OWNERS -- once considered the backbone of the U.S. economy.

THE REPUBLICANS MAY 'SAY' THAT THEY ARE THE CHAMPION OF THE INDEPENDENT ENTREPRENEUR AND, YES, THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH A SLICK-ASS CON JOB MAKING THEMSELVES BELIEVABLE BUT, THEY CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH, FOR IF THEY WERE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FREE MARKET ECONOMY, BASED ON THE MODELS OF AUSTRIAN ECONOMICS THEY'D DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. BUT, ONE CAN ONLY GO SO FAR TO BUILD A HEALTHY ECONOMY, WHEN THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES ARE

BEING SELECTIVELY APPLIED IN ORDER

TO MAINTAIN A MACHINE THAT

IS BEING USED TO FINANCE

THE “NANNY (government-knows-what’s-best-for-you) STATE”

(not to mention interest on LIMITLESS public debt payable to central bankers and the drug war is but an extension of the SAME DC/Wall St. war machine!)
